316 Stainless Steel is a high grade stainless typically used in commercial applications. This grade is non-magnetic, due to a higher Nickle content. Value-wise, it is higher than 304 Stainless. For proper identification, we can shoot this material with our XRF analyzer. Commonly found items of 316 are valves or pipes, and it is commonly used in the food industry.
