Dirty Aluminum Extrusions
Non-flat aluminum pieces used in structural applications. Typically “C” and “L” shapes. Dirty state of aluminum extrusions is defined by traces of steel screws, nuts, bolts, etc. or any other non-aluminum attachments. In addition, there may be excessive levels of paint or caulk present with dirty extrusions. There is, however, a maximum contamination level of 4% allowable.
